Easterns 2007

What a weekend. LC brought the youngest smallest squad (no seniors) out of the field of 16, playing some tough games -- almost upsetting a couple high seeds. We went 2-4 and tied for 13th. Junior leadership was present from Lee, Sam and Aaron. Ethan, Charlie, Chris W., Chris L., Kevin, Will, Trip, Michael, Tammy and Yoonwoo rounded out the roster. Everyone contributed and it was a good spirited fun time. Thanks to Alex for supporting the team and doing the bulk of the video-taping. Thanks to Shane and Jim for their coaching and presence. And thanks to the parents: Wayne, Rich, Mary Beth, Tim, Al, John, Carolyn and Jay for cheering us on, taking pictures, running water and everything else. The end of the year cookout will be at Sam and Kevin's on June 1st at 6pm. Bring a side dish. Families are invited.

Let's remember our goals over the last year, Getting Stronger/Getting Faster/Team Strength - Chemistry/Timing and Spacing/Spirit and Fairness/Play as Worship - Selfless, sacrificial play. Start visualizing and thinking about gametime situations. Reread the 11th ed rules, review the plays and sets. Take care of your bodies and minds as we draw near to the big event. Pray that we can do our very best at Easterns. Let's make our school and state proud.
